Just buy whatever the fuck you want, Evo, Subaru, whatever, iv seen both spank each other in all forms of motorsport and on the street... It's all about money in the end, you buy reliability and hp to a degree.

I'm a Subaru guy to the core, but if you're going to start making comparison between a newer EVO towards a dated WRX, where is the resemblance in that? I mean if it was between that Mitsu and a relative year STi ('02-'05?), that would've been much more comparable.

Subaru got munched. But honestly speaking it's cheaper and easier to get more HP out of an evo without breaking anything compared to the rex.

Here's my 2 cents:

Evo's are better at making HP, It's not a brandname thing, It's physics. The long stroke Inline 4 of the evo is a better platform for horsepower. If you want to win Dyno shootouts, or 1/4 mile races get the Evo.

WRX have a short stroke and opposing cylinders, this creates an efficient torque at low to mid RPM's But the lower piston speed reduces it's ability to make HP at high RPM. If only it came out with supercharger instead of turbo, we would see each to its own.

sorry mate u need to get your facts right! evo's have always had more power and only type r's p1's and 22b's have 2 doors. impreza sti's have a 2.0 engine in that shape in the vid... only impreza RS and new europe impreza have 2.5L. if that was a 22B impreza it would have 1 but its a std sti so it didnt
