  • guillermo you are probably portuguese jewish descent, acevedo is portuguese jewish name not spanish, so many portuguese jews fled the inkisition into spanish colonys they thought portuguese were all jews, until today portuguese is synonimous of jewish in many parts of american latina... i wouldnt say 50% of spanish have sephardic blood but about 20%, another 10% have moorish blood

    Jews started immigrating into Spain by the year 165AD or perhaps even sooner than this date. So Jews have a long history in Spain. It was in 1492 that the Jews were expelled from Spain for various reasons.
