To analyze the horizontal direction of the swing plane through the impact zone using video, position the camera literally "on" an extension of a plane which shares the vertical angle of the actual impact plane of the swing, AND which parallels the Target Line. The plane board proves that this swing is on that plane. The drawn line on the screen is one with the plane board. When the plane board is removed, the shaft's travel can be observed in relation to the line to determine whether the swing is on, in-to-out, or out-to-in of that plane which parallels the Target Line.
