@WeliWelo - Oh, and the speaker of the 'yellow monkey' comment, he was Japanese, wasn't he? There is racism between Japanese and Korean people (or, at least some of them).

@WeliWelo - It's supposed to be, I assume. Is this not a Korean movie? It would come from the Korean perspective. The 'Pocahontas' comment is probably expressing the ignorance some white Americans are seen as possessing. When Americans in particular tour Asian countries, they often don't bother to get to know any of the customs or language and are seen as stupid and rude. There's another movie about learning English that expresses this view as well.

@sueanna: it is no only the Pocahontas thing that bothered me, the monkey remarks did as well. I am not Korean but I found that to be a tad racist.

Because Robin traveled to a foreign country and met a local girl that he liked, just like how the guy in the Disney movie with Pochahontas.
