The question the speaker is asking is this: Does the doctrine of the church mirror a healthy teaching on sexuality. Is it oppressive and in this way a means of controlling people..unwittingly. So believe , believe in Jesus who is the fullness of he mystery of being...not of control..but the fullness of being who has married our humanity.

Bishop Robinson is a heretic and a troublemaker. Yes there has been abuse, obviously, but allowing clergy to marriage isn't the answer. Most pedophiles are fathers, uncles etc; men who are not celibate. Celibacy aint the problem, perverts slipping through the system is the problem.

Hey man. I just read your comments on the Catholic Church. There are evil people in every organisation but that doesn't mean the whole system stinks. 99.9% of priests aren't pedophiles but that's all that the media tell us.
They were pedophiles from the start who joined the Church to destroy innocent children.

YOU are a descendent of the people who started the Catholic church. Just because the Catholic church has scars, doesn't mean it continues making the same mistakes. Every generation has done stupid things. Look at all the suffering in the world. Cause this life is such a waste if you and i spend our time fighting over a church that has had bad leaders who made stupid choices and didn't try to live their Faith. Learn something from their mistakes and try to be the one to make a change in the world
