Crapy wheels go with 36 hole METAL RIMS and a smaller gear ratio like 25-9 for the street for racing go 30-12

nice bike, i just switched to a 24" Felt Brink, and i taco'd the back rim, been thinking about getting a pair of skyways cause i know they are tough. Just wondering how much they weigh? is it noticably more than a spoked wheel?
Carvemasta 7 months ago
@Carvemasta - my 20" mags weigh about 1~1.5 pounds (as a set) more than a decent set of spoked wheels.

@eggers97 - I've got my eye on a new 2011 Redline Flight Pro right now. BEAUTIFUL bikes!

I just wanted to say its a nice bike i have a similar proline same frame but if you are going to get serious i would recommend changing rims because the tuff wheels have so much wind resistance it would speed you up if you changed rims, just a thought.

@MrBmx781 - Yes, you're correct. I actually run a set of 1.5" rims when I occasionally attempt to race. I keep the Skyways on during the week for freestyle riding at the local skateparks. At my bodyweight, I tend to ride very cautiously on those tiny spokes.
