Montebello- Police intimidation Part 1

PLEASE READ!!! This video shows how the police continued to build up the intimidation level throughout the day. The crowd was doing fine, then the first group of riot police came marching out and formed a line. They had no masks and a white patch on their shoulder. The crowd took notice and approached the line. Things were fine for a few hours, but then another group of police switched places with the first ones. This second group had a red patch instead of a white one (a little more intimidating). As a result of that, the crowd got a little more worked up. After a few more hours, those cops were switched for ones wearing gas masks. Again as a result the crowd was getting a little bit more worked up. Then the next "shift change" brought on the full on black storm trooper looking cops with gas masks, shields and clubs. It was at this point that one guy began pushing and throwing stuff (most likely a provocateur in light of recent evidence), and right away about 15 or 20 idiots joined in on the aggressiveness (because the intimidation level had provoked them to that stage). That's when all hell broke loose. Everything would have been fine if the wall of police never came out in the first place. It is my opinion that the whole event was carefully planned. The riot police understand the mob mentality and most importantly how to manipulate it.

weavingspider way to analyze the video wrong...first of all the first guys who came put on gas masks, second of all the red ones had gas masks when they got there also im not quite sure how you can make a claim as bold as the police tried to make the protester's violent, you can't say that as such a simple statement as you have made it to be.

Alex, the first group of riot police did not put on gas masks, they were switched with younger more aggressive police who had the gas masks. I know because I was there! I witnessed this first hand... this is video that I shot after all. Also, my claim that "the police tried to make the protester's violent" as you say, has already been proven! Are you not aware of the provocateur incident??? do a search and watch the video called

Oh, well it seemed as though your description was out of order because you had the first gas masked police on the third switch, but it appears that the first group is wearing masks. I watched that video From what i know and from what that video shows those "provocateurs" did not succeed in inciting the protesters and they were removed and it is speculation that because these three existed others must be responsible for the violence. I don't think it follows as well as it seems to.

Well, Those three guys/cops started everything, but there were about 20 to 30 other idiots who decided to join in on the aggressiveness and as a result, the crowd was dispersed.

The Quebec police even admitted that those three guys were their cops!! They were dressed as aggressive protesters equipped with rocks, who were there to incite violence in order to give the "real police" an excuse to break up the crowd! My claim that the police tried to make the protesters violent has already been proven 100% Just watch the video!

It's easy to become a cop in Canada. You just need a grade 12 ( and you can get around that) and to complete a 18 week program with 1 week being an orientation week! So to become a cop in Canada - you only need slightly over 4 months of education!!! 4 months only!! I mean even hairdressers need 8 months!

Good lesson, remember to watch for provocateurs! Police working undercover have been caught provocateuring, there's nothing they want more than to have you completely removed from the area.
