Great song great album. I think halfway through Pop they starting coming down off that rock/dance creative pill hence then the Lemon tour becoming a bigger budget sequel with a plot that went nowhere.

Anyway, back to this classic tune. Love it. Pitch-perfect. I've always had this visual that they were so pushed for time recording it that it was done at like 5am, deadline looming, with Bono's nose blocked up from too much, er, medication, before he nailed it.

This wasa song I would listen to at the end of a night of drinking - all f*ckin' bombed and sitting there alone ready to crash. But it moved me everytime. "And I threw away the key". They don't do haevy stuff anymore. What the hell is Get on your boots about? Did he have a friggin labotomy?
