This lady is telling it like it is. I hope she works hard to get other people who normally don't vote to get out and stop MAPS 3.

When she said, "Fix what we have first", she was right on the money. No amount of new buildings can cover up blight and the damage it does to a city.

if you are on the side of the city! How would you feel when you are sick or your house is on fire and have to wait 30 40 min before you get a response or if you need a policeman are you willing to wait for 1 to 2 hours?? Because that is what it is coming to, If Mr hair plugs and a fake smile gets his way. see he and everyone that sits on that horseshoe are just like the idiots in washington they dont care and they will not listen to the people that put them in office,

well if the greed fire fighter and police unions would take a pay cut and we would have money for more police and fire fighter and this lady proble works for the police or firefighter thats why shes up there

And 10% of OKC city employees are scheduled to be LAID OFF. MAPS 3 is a joke.

This lady made a lot of great points and did it in a very classy, eloquent way. Kudos to her!! She rocks!

I also like what she has said about big city ways and big city problems. Do we really want a central park, with an inadequate amount of police to patrol it, since Mick doesn't consider our bravest citizens important enough to listen to them (all OKC for and police will be voting NO, BTW. Remember Murrah? THESE are the people who ran in that building when others ran out) - will you feel safe in that park? Or will it be a place unsafe for a woman to jog alone? He hasn't proven it can be safe.

The STATE is 600MIL in the hole. All state employees are taking pay cuts or being laid off. How safe would you feel in a huge Central Park with no police? Do you not know that our roads are falling apart, have you not seen the bridges of I-40 crumbling?

"All" MAPS3 does is hand a blank check to the elite. How laughable that you say only rich people can be visionaries. If you want, feel free to donate to Cornett's endless tax. I choose to say NO TO MAPS3! Feel free to host those out-of-towners.

C'Mon lady the $30 million park is for citizens and visitors alike, get the out-of-towners to pour in and we get more taxes. You act like the city is broke and falling apart. All MAPS 3 does is continue projects that have proven to make OKC a better place to live. The builders and visionaries of OKC are business leaders and rich people, not poor people.
