and you probably don't have to dip them in paraffin wax due to the natural oils from his sweaty fingers.

Your audio sounds like a dentist drill.

@TheDragonMF 42 gauge is 0.063 mm 43 is 0.056

Great idea , now you only need a turn counter and your're pretty well set up ,maybe not a neat as professional winding machines , but definitly also not as expensive, nice work.

@herda5 lol.. there's not THAT much oil in your fingers ;)

can some1 tell me how much mm (in diametr) has 42 or 43 gauge copper wire please?

How does your finger feelling =_=

Make sure the presser foot is up when you do that...it will be noisier if you don't and you risk wrecking the feed dogs and the foot. I take the needle out when I wind bobbins this fast, just in case...and, I'm amazed you can wind a rectangular pickup at this speed, lol.

HaHa a fine line like the difference between fishing and standing on the riverside like a div!
Can you check the impedance before you remove the pickup?

I didnt actually try. I would assume you would be able to check ohms between whatever two points you check. I was more interested in getting a completely unknown unique sound from each one, therefore was not neccessarily concerned with the actual reading on the pickup. Just really wanted to see if i could make a winder work! thanks for you interest.
