  • Is your son verbal? he looks like a very sweet and loving little boy.

  • @ilovemostlyanything2 No, Johnny's totally nonverbal and always has been. Yes, he's very sweet. Since this video, he's lost his taste for wood and plaster, but still likes to gnaw on hard plastics and metal. Now age 8, he's got big huge front teeth on top, like a beaver! We were really hoping the chewing would be gone by the time he got his adult teeth, but it's not. Hopefully, those big teeth will last a while.

  • have you gotten a chewnoodle? those things work well i have one because i chew on things too not as bad as your sun but when i was little i loved chewing on wood and now it is the metal on my bed.

  • why does johnny chew like a beaver

  • 2:41 He was on an airplane. Did he chew the plane?

  • 2:28 FAIL

good thing is that, it might be a ford.

Fords are made for tat. Every day, about 1 out of 100 dogs chews a Ford.

  • He is lacking in minerals and is why he is doing that! The medical DX is called Pica! Your child should be taking in 80 kinds of minerals and not just the very few the FDA list!

  • @IsabeauMann Well, yeah! You would have to be very careful so that he doesn't chip his adult teeth on some of the things he chews. When i was younger, I used to chew on my sleeves of my shirts and chew paper. But then again, so did many of my classmates and we weren't autistic. But, I grew out of it, so hopefully he will too. Or does this stay with him forever? I have worked with autistic kids before and they are very sweet. You have a handful but a blessing in your son! :)

  • Great idea for a video. My DS2 (at 9) chews all his shirts. So hang in there it gets better ?? lol TFS :)

  • hes worser than my bf.
