I came across this little tip from Josh Waitzkin's segments on Chessmaster 10 and found it pretty interesting. I had previously calculated every move in my head for end-games, and this will save a fair amount of time. Hope you find it usefull if you haven't come across it yet.

  • Sooo-.- you are a begginer. you can not. teach people, if you yourself, are only a begginer. at least. try. to make your chess presentations, not so full of mistakes. because i see you provide some wrong informations. you need to check-up your videos you know?

  • @Pilooogen No, just take the black pawn.

  • why not simply take the black bishop and simply win the game with my white bishop?

  • thanks your videos are so helpful keep up the good work

  • in the first example the best move is white king takes bishop.

  • @Pilooogen probably not, but if you're going to win anyway, what's the diference?

  • 2:11 hahahahhahahhahahaahhaahhaah

  • Was it really necessarily to sacrifice the queen?

  • @RsGhost1 Because otherwise black would advance his black pawn and white cannot stop black from making a queen out of it.

  • Good stuff JRobi. A bit basic for me. But great for newbies.
