Dilbert reveals the magic number that satisfies all. Dogbert helps an employee ask for help.

In Eighty-Seven Studies, Dilbert says, 'I didn't have amy accurate numbers, so I just made up this one. Studies have shown that accurate numbers aren't any more useful than the ones you make up.' Boss says, 'How many studies showed that?' Dilbert says, 'Eighty-seven.'

In Read A Manual, Dogbert says, I think I know what your problem is...Take all the parts and arrange them in neat piles. Now stand on your chair so you can see above your cubicle wall...now shout Does anybody know how to read a manual?

  • hahaha, I want to do this to all the service techs that call me at work.

  • Both of them are great!

  • @Akhiloth I always thought about it differently: that he has pulled the number of studies out of his ass and people has believed it, thinking that if it is a number, then it is a fact/it means something.

  • @SebbeLundblad its the voice actor for darth vader i think.

  • Dogbert sounds like Morpheus

  • @Akhiloth L.S.D =_=

  • Hahahah. L o L

Wish i could say that in my job.

  • @makeoohsothoughtful No one did. As a matter of fact dilbert's glasses never moved up besides when dilbert moved his head. That was the pointy haired boss raising up his hand to ask a question.

  • rtfm!

  • 87 :D

  • @Akhiloth No it's just a situational application of an already existing paradox

  • whos arm moved his glasses :o it didnt look like dilberts

  • @Akhiloth im sorry, i might be stupid, but how?

  • @blazerj21 Sorry but 150 out of 100 studies show that 237 is an exaggerated number and that really 10,000 people every second are not able to read manuals for 10 reasons or another.

  • i wish they had the original cast from the series do the voice work, this just doesnt feel right

  • @edbern007 however the 8 people who can't read a manual are now attempting to blow up the homes of the 237 people who can :(

  • @blazerj21 hats of to the 237..:)

  • @edbern007 buy fortunately 237 people can read a manual

  • 8 people cant read a manual..lol

  • Dogbert for president!

  • But is it art?

  • but the those studies have shown that made up numbers are as good as actual numbers

  • I am sure the number 87 studies are made up too!
