Well, if the celts were really like that.
Their enemies weren't scared to death like the roman and greec historians wrote but they laughed them to death.
This is an real reconstruction of an celtic warrior of the 4th century bc. this helmet was found in a grave. have fun! ;o)
that isn't how all celts dressed for battle, there wasn't any standard equipment for the celts. sometimes they just wore what they had on and hoped for the best

@kahnert Ah no the Greek and Etruscian copied the Celtic life style. One is soap that the Celts brought to Europe. Chain mail is another one. The Celts saw the Greeks and the Romans rise. Have no delusions Greek and Roman copied the Celts. But if you think of it now.

PS: the gaesum is a full-iron javelin, similar to the late legions plumba; the lancea an hasta are celtish, too, not to mention the celtiberian gladius (claidh) scutum (big oval shield of auxiliary legions) falcata, or greek kopis (not thracian as some people claim, the bastarnae were celts, Herodotus describes them well, the kopis will be the antecesor of the turkish yatagan, nepali kukri, indian dao and talwar, thanks to alexander the great) and at last the sica

Gaulish tribes were masters of individual combat; their equipment didnt' differ much of the early roman legionaries; the longshield was pretty much like the parma; the helmets were the same (roman coolus, montefortino, and imperial gallico are copies of gaulish helmets, and macedonian phalanxists helmets of the bastarna thraco-gallic tribes) the lorica hamata, o short chainmail is a gaulish invention too (Livy an Polibius mention it) not to mention the gaesum, predecessor of the marian pila
