@mech10813 yes of course. However if you were to attack with your back hand in order to reach your opponent, you would have to take a step forward wouldn't you? Then you would be attacking with your hand that is closest to nage anyways. make sense? Unless you just bend forward and reached, but then you would have zero power and the application of nage could be several regardless

@lisa5091 it takes a lot of time to learn all the details, even for a starter technique like this.

@lisa5091 I'm sorry dear Lisa, I just dont agree. Besides, it doesn't matter too much to me now, cuz I stopped aikido for a while. i got to admit that irimi nage is a beginner technique indeed, but have you ever tried to do it on a 130kg man?
