See my blog: http://endzonedogs.blogspot.com/2009/06/out-with-old-in-with-new.html for background leading up to retraining Reason with this method.

I'm having a blast reteaching him a more thoughtful entry. Susan Garrett's 2x2 method is a no brainer for teaching weaves. It is a brilliant and very easy way to teach weaves.

  • That's the same expression he has at the startline in agility waiting for the release, at the post before sending him on an outrun to pick up sheep, and before I send him on a retrieve (articles, dumbbell, or gloves) in obedience. That wonderful face...when I look at it, I want time to stand still.

  • nancy,

how did you first start, with 2 and quickly get to 4 in a row or just start with 4 and work entrances? I am doing this with

sophie and wonder how to retrain

  • I trained my new agility dog with the 2x2 method. I think it's absolutely brilliant!!! Great job - your dog obviously knows what he's doing!!

  • BEAUTIFUL Nancy....just simply BEAUTIFUL:))

  • OMG, I just love his expression while he is waiting to be released to weave! His face is frozen:>) He sure is a speedster in those poles and blasts thru them like a 2 year old! Gotta love that tri boy!
