Three targets, two demands, one noizy protest, all on a sunny London aftternoon in September.
Target #1: Allseas UK Offices
• Address: 7 Albemarle Street, London WIS 4HQ
• Response: The classic 'Head in the Sand' approach - "Maybe if we just ignore the problem, it'll just go away?"
Allseas operate a gangantuan marine pipe-laying vessel called Solitaire, the largest of it's kind in the world (300m long, 420 crew). Big Oil juggernaut Shell have hired the ship to place pipe for 'em at Rossport, Co Mayo, Ireland.
Demand #1: Support Rossport Hunger Striker Maura Harrington
When the Solitare entered Irish waters on Tue 09 Sep 08, a 54-year-old mother-of-four school principal drove her car to the compound gates of the Shell compound in Glengad in Erris with a hand-written sign in the window: "Maura Harrington / Shell To Sea / On Hunger Strike" - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maura_Harrington for a picture and more info.

Banging spoons on lamposts? Is this what 'Action' is all about?
I'm sure whatever or whoever you are protesting about are 'quaking' in their boots!!
Ridiculous...

Good grief Clarkeyman! Er... We won!!
Your wee contribution to YouTube consists of bitching about the fairness of parking enforcement policy in Kent and now griping about how 'ridiculous' somebody else's political action was. Let me guess you're a sad and sorry Jeremy Clarkson fanboy, yes?

Our Solidarity Action on Mon 15 Sep 08 demanded that the world's largest marine pipe-laying vessel, Allseas' 'Solitaire', leave Irish waters, as part of an 8-year-long campaign against a rapacious scheme by climate criminals Shell to INCREASE carbon emissions while endangering & exploiting our sisters & brothers in Co. Mayo, Ireland. On Fri 19 Oct, 'Shell to Sea' campaigner Maura Harrington ended her hunger strike BECAUSE the 'Solitaire' had left Irish waters.
