January 26th and 27th ICESTORM of 2009

Here is some video spanning January 26th through the 27th in which my hometown of Bentonville saw just over 1/2" to 1 inch of ice accumulate on everything and severely damage the local power, phone, and cable infrastructure as well as shut down many of the businesses and roads in the area. At the time of posting this video there are still areas in relatively close proximity to Bentonville that are being told to expect to still be with out power for weeks even though the ice has totally melted.

It has its own beauty, but wow thats a mess. We get those around here sometimes, but we have had no winter this season.
