Richmondites say farewell to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:00 p.m. PST at the Richmond O Zone celebration site in Minoru Park on Feb. 28, 2010. Thousands of people gathered at the O Zone in Richmond, BC, Canada to watch the Men's Gold Medal Hockey game (Team Canada beat Team USA 3-2 in OT) and the Closing Ceremony live on the big screen and say goodbye to the XXI Winter Games.

  • best olympics ever

  • @Kartracer6

lol a crappy house in the west side of Vancouver could easily cost over $1,000,000.. :'(

  • I want to listen Bryan Adams in Vancuver

  • @theWall0719 Yes I'll agree with a huge number of those statements. Most nations are in a cyclical economy right not and the US and UK and parts of europe are probably getting hit the worst. I think one of the biggest things this nation probably needs to do to stop the inflation and economy is do nothing. because in past years doing something helped then but only made it worse later. But fun olympics. Great job Canada on the Hockey games heck of a game

  • @Kartracer6: I don't know how this argument started, but here's my say. No you are nowhere near being a so called 3rd world nation. That said, your debt is staggering and could pose some serious problems if no dealt with soon. Also, you have to find a way to reduce the growing disparity between the wealthy and poor in your nation. If you look at stats you will see that your middle class is quickly shrinking, as this gap widens. Lastly, congrats on your insane number of overall medals!

  • @team1200 yes apperently a 14.2 trillion dollar GDP makes us a 3rd world country...seriously pull out a economics books sometime. Besides that wasn't the main conversation I notice you didn't even respond to that part

  • Despite your GDP, you national debt. Here is a live tracker of your national debt.

  • @team1200 And from what I watched the jokes weren't even funny and they made comments like "canada likes to say sorry...but we don't mean it"--wonder if this was refering to the womens hockey incident. They had other weird stuff like peeing other countries names in the snow...it was just really snobby and this is coming from a canadian

  • @team1200 @team1200 it's also got a GDP of 14.2 Trillion of course we are going to have higher debt then other countries...we make more...that by no means makes us a third world country.

  • USA is turning into 3rd world, 7 trillion $ in debt...good luck paying that off.

How was it boring? What did you expect? It had everything, it had music, performing, lights, special effects. And how was it snobby?

I nor did anyone i know say that
