When I move the masking timeline forward, the preview timeline doesn't move, and when I change the position of the lightsaber, it stays the same shape when I play the video back.

@RandomKillingMachine you can cut the 7 minutes with youtube editing, in that way you dont have to delete your vid

I have Sony Vegas Pro 11 and your video worked pretty great except one small detail. It starts with the event crop n masking. My frames of crop masking didn't move along with the video that was being previewed so 5hours later I found this small icon called "SYNC CURSOR" under the time line. I don't know if pro 9/10 has this button. But if you do you need to make sure its on. Your video was a big help though by the way.
