I am 13 years old and this is my first DSLR and these pictures are from the first 3 days of use.

for skate pictures, get low, and use cool angles. standing up is so 2005 lol.
juts have fun with it though.
oh, AVOID HEAD CUT OFFS! always. head cut offs= big no no in skate photography.
also, try to get the start, and finish of the spot where the skater is doing the trick. so where he's riding up to do the trick, and where he lands.
also catch him at the highest point of the trick.

From your point of view, is the Nikon D60 easy to use, and have you stopped and experimented with the manual settings as opposed to the auto settings? I am just wondering since I want to go into SLR's myself?

i am still tying to figure things out with it (i gonna start reading the manuel) but the only auto thing i have is the focus and iso.
it is an easy to use camera which i love!
