@egn83b i agree , and what about the oil used for the lubrication inside the engine ??? , the cost of an oil change will sky rocket.... stupid..!!!

@stonerj0e May be. I tend to think the oil industry would prefer if we did not have an alterative fuel source. You can make rocket fuel from oil. Why would NASA choose Hydrogen.

Electrolysis is not a process whereby energy is gained, it is at it's best an equilibrium. No energy gained, no energy lost.
Energy is needed to split water molecules, the products when combusted produce somewhere near the same amount of energy if not lesser.
The reason why NASA uses hydrogen and oxygen fuel is due to their highly explosive and relatively pollution free nature, not because it creates energy. =/

What? Energy can come from water by electrolysis.. That is how NASA makes rocket fuel.

right bull, even if this is true the oil cumpinies wouldint let you mass prds this cus theres still 30 or 40 years left of money they can make. basicly they just want money, not better fuels.
