Delightful movie, but it is raked over the coals on most movie review sites. I think THAT says more about us than about the movie. Is this really a world where we're interested in nothing but Ted & Thor? Can a sensitive film even be appreciated? This had imaginative costumes and art, warm acting- probably the best performance Hugh Jackman ever gave. Colorful mix of mythopoeia and history. If a film doesn't tell a story in the most 123 once upon a time manner it gets bayoneted as pretentious.
