My name is Domenic Cortese and I own and operate DJ Dominoes Disc Jockey service here in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
I was born and raised here in Niagara Falls and I'm a father with 2 boys. One in College and one in high school.
Growing up, I took guitar lessons, but now rarely have time to plany anymore between 2 job and 2 kids. As a teenager I was always the kid who brought the music to the party, I also love to attend live concerts or live musical shows. The love of music is what actually brought me to the DJ industry and D J Music.

The idea came to me on day when I was taking care of the music at a Stag and doe for a family member and had so many compliments at the end of the party that one week later I had business cards made up and away I went. That was over 17 years ago and today I still enjoy the disc jockey profession, and djs mixer!

Currently, at DJ Dominoes DJ Service we handle 80-90 functions a year and approx 90% of those are weddings. We are very experience in performing at weddings, and I myself have performed at over 450.

After booking a wedding with us, we actually sit down with the bride and groom and give a complete consultation and review of the musical itinerary for the big day. We also help the bride and groom with musical guffestion if required.

We at DJ Dominoes DJ Service like to provide #1 customer service. We give our customers what they are looking for, we have quality sounding DJ equipment, a very large music library, we alway take requests at all the functions we do. WE are also member of the Canadian Disc Jockey Association.

We can also supply special effect like fog, dry ice, dance lighting and uplighting.

New for 2012, we now offer as an add on, wedding day assistant or co-ordinator. We've added this feature simply because we've noticed more and more brides wanting a lot of the little details to be taken care of on the acutal wedding day, that way the bride and groom get to enjoy their special day.

We also provide DJ Services for any other occasions Stag and Does, Birthday parties, school or grad dances, aniversay parties, or corporate functions.

In today's techology, everone thinks they can be a DJ by downloading free, unlicensed music and playing from their laptop or ipod at parties or wedding. Little do they know that playing music from a laptop or ipod at a public event requires at AVLA licence. It they are doing so the are operation illegally and require an annual licence which cost over $300.00 or $50 for a one time event licence. Above and beyond the licensing issures, if you are getting married, it's ok to do some of the little items yourself, like invitations, wedding favours, etc, but unless you are a professional leave the music to a professional, just as you would the cake, the photography. You'll be glad you did.

Thanks for listening, and give us a call if you need a DJ or chus our at www.djdominoes.ca

  • As a bandleader, it is a real pleasure to work together with DJ's like Domenic who like us have the bride and groom and the dance floor full of people in mind, rather than their own agenda of playing "whatever they want". The most important thing is to always give your client and their guests the best time possible with a great attitude.

  • @NoteForNoteProd Thanks for you comments Sandy. Charles

  • It's great to have trusted service providers in the wedding industry that you can refer your clients to. Nice of you to highlight them Charles. It will no doubt benefit both of you.
