It could only be done as a series. A movie would be overpriced and would have to cut too much out.

I guess they will never get the book into a movie the only possible thing would be to split it in a lot movies -
the time i red the series was great and I really regret robert jordans death in 2007 - he was a really genious writer!

Let's hope that the movie is better than Eragon. God, that movie was horrible...
I'd hope the guys would get someone like Peter Jackson to direct it, since Jackson did Lord of the Rings (And did a bloody good job, as well!), and hopefully a very, VERY large budget.
The only reason it would be hard to make one of these books a movie, though, is that if they leave even one detail out of the story, it could leave out something in the end that was very important.
We can always hope, though.
