This is a 3-D Walkthrough model of The Miho Museum (architect: I.M. Pei) built in SketchUp by Mark Tuttle for a Contemporary Architecture class at Brown University in the spring of 2006.
Something I noticed from a video on youtube as the camerperson was entering the Miho museum from the tunnel: the large paved area directly in front of the stairs becomes invisible at ground level from a distance. The design becomes much more simple, elegant, and natural.
Perhaps all the viewing from above was not intended. (Perhaps this circle is also a heliport?)
may i have your sketchup file for further study?
many thanks~
