Rondo of Blood -Stage 6 Bosses (Giant Bat, Medusa, Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster and Shaft)

Definately the hardest of boss fights in the entire game! Dracula was easier than this cause you're up against four bosses here! Granted the first two bosses are rather easy, but still..DAAAMN! as the AVGN would say! lol

I like the animation they chose for all the bosses! They all look very cool! And I was glad to see they added Frankenstein's monster in this one! He's been a Castlevania boss since day 1. I love the way you see his face reveal a metal skull when he dies! And to see Shaft, who is one of the main characters in "Symphony of the Night", just made this one seem to fit more with it than "Dracula X" did. That one just seemed like a separate entity from SOTN. Even Dracula looked different in that one!

Yeah, I know, my computer has some issues with this game and freezing, as you can tell by the point where I get to shaft. Can you believe it's done this crap when I've gotten to Shaft and not un-froze?! I have to reset and start the hardest fight in the game over again?! Again, as the AVGN would say, "ASS!!"

Interesting background I thought when I looked at this fight over again and thought, "Haven't I seen this background somewhere before?" Yes. I have. Looks very much like the background in the 64 Castlevania when you're fighting Dracula's servant.
And speaking of the background, I wish something else would come out of the pentagram,.. like Carrera :d ... cause she's my favorate demon. But wait! Than I'd lose the game :D I'd fall in love and not be able to attack her! LOL Dracula's ultimate weapon! Her needs to summon her and then he'd for sure win! haha

The bat is the only boss out of this group to appear in "Dracula X".

Yeah, I try to play most of my games (at least when I'm recording) without using any upgrades or sub-weapons cause to me, what's the point of uploading videos without doing anything special (unless it's a walkthrough). But unfortunately you get games (don't get me wrong, I love these ones) like Zelda or Metroid where you have no choice but to get the upgrades if you want to proceed further. Oh well.. at least you don't have to use some of them on bosses though.

I don't know why Konami decied to fuck up castlevania games that bad. After castlevania 4 they just took away the ability to whip in 8 directions, pressing up and attack is pointless for a controller with 6 buttons, there is barely any recovery time after getting hit and you can no longer control your movement in the air. This is the reason why these games are so hard and frustrating. There was no point to downgrade back to the NES controls.

Grab some hearts, grab the axe, enter the boss room, fling a few axes at Giant Bat, whip it's ass down, get some hearts, whip Medusa's ass down (FUCKING SPINNING SNAKES AND THEIR STONING), use axe item crash whenever Mummy spews his bandages at you to erase those away, fuck him up, get some health back, use remaining axes on Monster, whip him down, ....then we get to Shaft. =_=

Luckily, if you die at Shaft and have some extra lives left, you only have to fight Shaft. :D
