Thank you MNdigger and Brett. Yes, the sandcastles were amazing, just HAD to include them in the video. I really do like hunting at night. Wish we could do that at Stewart Beach. Had a great time today, thanks for the invite Brett...(big smile)

@LostRingFinders oh we are back in oklahoma now. we came back saturday. it wasn't too bad. the beach wasn't the best i've been to by any means but we had fun. did some swimming and fishing. unfortunately the seaweed ruined most of my fishing but it wasn't bad.

@ed0985587 Glad you had a good time, today would be horrible Ed. Check out these live cams from Galveston: google: galveston web cameras . Monday we saw seaweed still coming in during the ring search at Quintana.

my family is going down there next week for a small vacation. how is the beach? also is there a lot of jellyfish there? i'm not expecting cancun or cozumel looking beach just something decent. can you give me and insight?

@ed0985587 the serf was clear today with no reports of jellyfish...water looked clean and blue with a moderate amount of seasonal seaweed washing ashore...lots of people swimming and sunning on the beaches...have fun next week.
