@DOPEgIRLfRESH09 ... nope. not not whe're both wrong. it was 79.. Dolls started in 78. legit info. Mrs. oatis say it in one of her interviews. It really was orinated at cada's in New Orleans tho. so im quite sure the idea made it to Baton Rouge before MIssissippi to have dancers dance in the stands

@lankler Um what? The settes DEFIENTLY started 8 counts in the 70's not the 80's. If im not mistaking I think it was 72 or 75.

@DOPEgIRLfRESH09 .... ur wrong... Dolls were the first to do 8 counts in the stands.. Settes were right behind the tho.. both squads use to sit and smile in the stands, but the Dolls stated throwning counts in 81, Settes started in 82

I guess I'd never really realized how graceful these ladies were until I saw them again live this year. When I was younger, I just used to wanna get with em, but now that I'm older, and less horney, I can appreciate their art! They have so much grace and poise.

ppl need 2 stop hatin................good job ladies..check out their proidgy julian dancing dollsn julian band
yeah since the late 50's or early 60's to dance on a footall field without patons. They were known as the Southern Bells then change their name to "Dancing Dolls" in the late 60's when Doc came along.
I wish Southern would emphasize that theyr were the first and only until Alcorn came along. Correct me if I'm wrong.

They ain't crazy. They know that, that's why they are hating. They know the Dolls are the shit. All these other "dancers" can go take a seat.
