The LAFD responded to a structure fire located in South Central LA on Slauson Ave. The fire contained large amounts of scrap titanium which eventually exploded like a bomb. A few weeks later, a similar fire that started in a jeans mfg co. and burned through the wall into another scrap titanium storage facility located across the street resulted in 3 major explosions that destroyed a huge warehouse the size of a city block as burning, melting titanium debris rained down on firefighters and damaged fire apparatus.

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* Omg, a resemblance of Battlefield 3 limited edition in solo mode game for PS3 console!

I spea french and little english.

  • 3:33, Holy shit. Awesome awesome helmet cam job, Does not get any better than that. That is some serious stuff burning there. I was a Haz Mat responder for 10 years and I found it to be a fantastic and intense experience. Dangerous stuff there, I tip my hat to all fire fighters.

  • .Folks, I got 27 years in this game, and there is never, never an exact scenario for anything. You pre plan best you can, but who knows, those containers may have been a new project that company just took on. See those running laborers..what do they know about the explosiveness of Titanium? Things happen fast...sure, training is critical, but tropps on the ground at that split second make the decisions right or wrong. They did the best job they could with the sketchy info they had. KMA

  • holy shit!!!!!

  • wow this is so surreal!

  • @BigWaveWipeout do you know the cadet hayden?

  • @FIREHAWK529 Hindsight is 20/20 (well if you know what you're looking at) If the person who posted didn't want comments they can block them out. Sometimes when you post a response to someone's you find out they are immature or a troll. (I'm not referring to you) I don't know everything, but I've been around a bit too.

  • @ffjsb your comments are refined an educated, i grant you that. but these guys are out there doing it. A fine example of the courage and bravery it takes to be a good firefighter, this job is chaos, and, we dont have magic powers to forsee the unthinkable. your bs comments are that you even comment at all. this video shows way more positive than negative. plus , im sure these guys were just happy to go home .
