When is Virgin Mobile's "Promo Bonus" NOT

Listen in as a Virgin mobile customer service agent describes a promo bonus which we decided to accept, but after topping up $25.00, we discovered there's NO such bonus although there was a deduction of $0.34 for 911 service, leaving a New balance of $24.66 and NO BONUS. Several attempts were subsequently made to address the issue with Virgin mobile customer service, however in separate telcons with two different agents, the first disconnected without even a "Good bye", while the more courteous second agent patiently listened to the recorded phone message before repeating, NO 20% BONUS is available at Virgin mobile Canada. Neither agent expressed any concern, that without satisfaction we would post this video to the world wide web. So here we are, to let you know . . there seems to be no such thing as a 20% PROMO BONUS at Virgin mobile Canada, irregardless of any message their customer service agent leaves on your telephone.

With absolutely no response to two (2) telephone recorded messages left with Virgin's Promo team, except hearing a recorded voice promise to call back . . . . (* "Our Worry-Free Guarantee What? You worry? Not with Virgin Mobile. We take the worry out of your mobile lifestyle with these cool services..... With our 100% Callback Guarantee, if we dont call you back when we say we will, well give you $5 back on your bill."* | Hey there VirginMobile! So where's my $10) . . .

UPDATE:
Good news . . apparently there is a 20% BONUS after all. Thanks to Twitter and Virgin Mobile's prompt response to a tweet, we eventually received our PROMO BONUS as originally promised. Gotta love that Twitter.com

Customer Service tends to cuss alot. I work for Virgin Mobile. We give alot of Bonus Credit out so i hope they did give it to you.

Stress occurs alot with agents because they get in-bound calls that give the employee problems or headaches but its really intended for the company. but all the anger comes out to the agent.

I wasn't sure either Barbara and it seems obvious he didn't realise his mic was still open. I think Miss Jeana seemed to pick up on it better than I did, still we'll probably never know for sure because Virgin have not returned my phone calls.

In this age of instant information from the Internet there is no reason for you not to research your purchases and services before coughing up the cash except for your own laziness.

Why would an adult and consumer ask the Mommy and Daddy surrogates of gargantuan government to protect you from yourself?

Take Virgin to court, that will teach them.
