PASA, Career Services, and Alumni Relations, with the help of the Center for Science, Technology, and Public Policy, hosted a panel discussion on the use of social media by advocates, campaigns, and governments to engage with the public and promote a public dialog.
Panelists included:
Ken Killian - Political Affairs Coordinator for the Minnesota Association of Professional Employees;
Rachel Dakarian - Former Manager of Social Media for the Margaret Anderson Kelliher campaign for Governor;
Steven Clift - Founder and Executive Director of e-Demoncracy.org;
Chris Mitchell - Director of the Telecommunications as a Commons Initiative at the Institute for Local Self Reliance;
Margaret Anderson Kelliher - Speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives and former DFL candidate for Governor of Minnesota
