And mainly a cooler filled with ice would be so much more efficient, but since he replied to my last comment on the other vid with so much confidence I'm gonna be the asshole that proves his cooling idea is a bust.

Ha! He could remove the a/c condenser and fan and I'd be willing to bet the temp of the water at the bottom of the barrel being sucked up by the pump would be the exact same as it is with all that mess. As a matter of fact if he gives me the details of his set up. ( gallons of water, length and diameter of the water supply line, length of pipe being heated, and gallons per hr being pumped) I'll post a vid with and without that garbage and prove it's a waste of space and electricity.

Don't exactly form an idea of the secondery coil inside the actual head, can't figure out the soul purpose of it as the coil does'nt touch the actual head it self , but don' seem to get it , it wil only heat the water very rapedly not doing condensing at all,think about the logic of it.The other one is the actual condence pipe that is hooked up on the radiator thats a cool idea.good tip for cooling

When I first saw your Vid...I knew how this setup worked. Fuck the idiots who don't understand...they don't need to be distilling anyway. Keep up the good work!!!

Chur cuz wead u find the cooling head?

@TamTheToff Oi, most of us here across the pond have been spoon fed Bullshit "Make you go Blind" stories Since we had prohibition in the 20's ...Sadly most American Don't even Know how the spirits they drink are made ..All they know is if you try to make it yourself you'll go blind..... typical propaganda :(
great idea about cooling , but i think you have to hook up the bottom (lowest pipe) of your condenser (not the coiled pipe in the actual head) to the bottom of the radiator and the top of the radiator as your outlet back to the drum and the pump outlet to the top part of the condenser (witch is the actual strait copper pipe),think the logic way .Just trying to correct your cooling setup,keep up the good work and let me know what you think, cheers mate

@danssv8
As with ANY reflux still, when the vapors arrive at the top of the column they are cooled by cold water passing through in order to create the reflux action of a reflux still. This is not a pot still but indeed a reflux still, So Danssv8 "think the logic way" before you try to make people you don't even know look stupid. do some research!

Salvage cooler..i luv it..whats your tower packed with?

@GreenOuthouse
Cheers mate, The tower is packed with glass marbles and stainless steel wool in 3 inch each all the way from top to bottom, makes for a really good reflux action.

IF YOU HAVE A RAD THEN YOUR SYSTEM SHOULD BE A CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM.... LIKE A CAR... U STILL HAVE A BUCKET OF WATER JUST LIKE ANY OTHER STILL WOULD HAVE... I AM GONNA TAKE THIS IDEA AND MAKE IT A CLOSED LOOP.... THANKS FOR THE IDEA...

@AT4AFT20
I dont think your plan will work mate, the water in th 250lt barrel gets hotter even with the radiator, and hot water wont cool the still. nit sure how you intend to do this....
