This short solo is based on Max Roach's phrase "For big Sid" from his 1966 album "Drums unlimited. I don't try to copy his solo, nor does it merit comparison to the original classic.
I just hope you enjoy.
The kit is a Pearl Masterworks 18" 12" and 14", with a 10 ply 6.5 inch snare. All maple.

Sweet! Got swing--and melodic rhythm (as Max was famous for). Really nice tone in the drums, the toms in particular.
