  • Great lesson. Where did all these turn arounds come from? I have always thought were these created using theory first, or did someone play portions of chords to acheive this sound. I also wonder who was the first person to start using these turn arounds, is it actually known where the origins are from?

  • I've never looked at this video before but like my presentation enough to comment on this question. I think the old blind guitarists of the south who started the blues invented this because it was always there since the beginning.

    I hear variations of turnarounds in the old recordings.
