22nd and 23rd January, Apple Tree Railway on DCC

The first video of the ATR for over a year, and the first video of it on DCC. The cost of the DCC and the huge amount of money required to buy decoders, fit engines and repair them meant it has taken us a very long time to get anywhere near our full amount of locos operational. During the wait- it wasn't all bad news however, as the line brought in world record breaker 3440 City of Truro!

But at last we are getting there- and next weekend 5th and 6th of Febuary, we will hold a gala with roughly 14 locos operating. Stay tuned for the gala!

The weekend shown in the video was a huge success- DCC worked it's magic and the engines ran the whole route perfectly and smoothly. Locos operating in the video:

Thank you very much for your comment! I record the sounds from other videos on youtube- plus my own vieos from my local railway (GWSR). I use the sound recorder on the computer and record the sounds in such a way that they fit the model railway videos.

Well, the next one will be when I get the track down. It's currently school season again, so my model trains are left to fade....but I hope to try and get some loco's you might not have seen before in my vdieo's....such as my LMS Crab :)

Cool. I know how u feel about school etc, I have gcses this year- but i am determined to work the atr and revise so I have some enjoyment during the revision period.

The railway runs from one room to another in our house via the hall way. It doesn't go in just one room or round a room. They basically travel from one side of the 'upstairs' to the other.
