@forestskog 3) So, it took you 5 months to quit nicotine, and you don't think that's putting off quitting??? When I quit cold turkey, I QUIT that day, not 5 miserable months and all that patch money later. And guess what, it was easy. I had a few cravings for the first few days and they only lasted 60 seconds. As long as you remember that the cravings don't last long and stop altogether in 2 weeks you can quit cold turkey.
If you'd made it 72 hrs cold T you wouldn't have needed the patch.

@forestskog Worst. Advice. Ever. In fact, everything you wrote is 100% opposite of the truth:
1) "there is zero reason not to take nicotine replacement". Wrong- nicotine replacements aren't quitting, they're just changing how you get the nicotine. All they do is prolong the (sometimes) difficult withdrawal stage.
2) "There really is zero reason to go cold turkey it will just make you put it off for ages". Wrong. Anyone who goes cold turkey will be completely free of nicotine in 72 hours.

My 2 cents: I've tried everything on this earth before i finally quit. IMO if you have not already quit but will do so, there is zero reason not to take nicotine replacement. There really is zero reason to go cold turkey it will just make you put it off for ages. E-cigarettes (like totally wicked tornado or other BIG ones) are fantastic- first tthey replasced 50, then 75 then 85 % of the cigarettes I smoked over 5 months. And one day I just gave up both and it was 5x easier than cold turkey

I was so addicted to cigarettes from 16 to 35. No way to count the number of times I tried and failed. I quit sev. times for about 6 months and was GREAT and what would always get me is when I would be at a party and a little drunk and took 'just one puff.' But this time I beat it forever since 1 year. What helped me is during the 6 month non smoking stints I actually gained memories and references to compare life smoking or not. And not smoking (+ workouts) is TEN times better.

wow!!!I just wrote about 40 days and 40 nights on one of your other videos...I think you ate those junk foods coz you were sub-conciously celebrating that you quit smoking...Like you just had a party day....Yipppeee!!!
everything you say is true...
God Bless You Very Much
In reference to habits, sometimes applying a substitute response is good, but of course, as just with the original habit you don't want to be dependent upon whatever substitution you apply. In any case, congratulations (Quitting)
