If I had a time machine my number one priority would be to go back in time and marry her. She was just the most incredible woman.

is it me or is the tape of the first loop "bouncing" in sync with the noise on it?

I can't explain it but achieving stuff this way seems much more entertaining that the "digital way".... while it takes more time, I wonder why there is not a scene for "tape", kind of like the turn table freaks are still going at it.

She liked a drop of red wine, too....The woman was a genius and someone I'd loved to have met.....All the best, my friend............and in answer to your question, 'Yes, it does still exist!'. G.

Funny how well-spoken - posh even - she sounds, when you consider her incredibly working-class background. Still, these were the days of elocution lessons, when you had to sound right to get the job. It would have been hard enough being a woman, let alone one from such humble origins. She really was such a wonderful inspiration.

exactly! think of vinyl records, everyone says it sounds better but it has that background noise depending on the surface quality of the record. and even if it sounded not so good, people loved the music because the song itself was great. the only persons complaining about analog>digital, are those which were rich and bought analog synths, builded themselves those synths etc and now see other people with cheap instruments making better songs than those of the rich people or obsessed audiophiles

If you're relying on the recording medium to give your music character then you're in the wrong game. I like the analogue sound, but good music will sound good no matter how it's recorded.
