It only depends on what knowledge people have to figure out whether or not they are guilty. So if the NSA followed their own rules they themselves would be guilty of all crimes that they transmitted across those channels.

This is some serious stuff in this day of high tech. communications. Filthy rich and powerful corporations that are in bed together with power and control freak politicians is a formula for disaster for any free society. First indicator is the fact that the media hasn't put this kind of material on prime-time news REGULARLY, red flags are going up for me! Consider the fact that most media is owned by a few powerful corporations, they can downplay and censor anything they want.
