Thank you :-) The CC-340 does have a nice, throaty sound. The AP will keep wings level, and hold an altitude. It will either keep you on a straight line ground track or follow the magenta line on the GPS to your waypoint(s). You cannot preselect an altitude but you can tell it to climb or descend by setting a rate: ie, 500 fpm up or whatever.
