2009 Ford Focus SE walkaround and short drive

How do you like your car so far? I found a used 2009 Focus SES with 33,000 miles on it that I'm looking to buy as my first Ford car...would you recommend me buying it? Thanks!

@MGSROCKS1 I like it a lot more than my friends Cobalt, it handles better, is more quiet and the interior is a lot better. The back seat is pretty roomy for a coupe and I've averaged an all time high of 39.4mpg to a tank. Plus Sync is pretty handy. But if it's an auto I'd keep looking for a 5spd. In '09 Ford put a taller final drive ratio to try to help with acceleration in the auto, but they're still noticeably slower than a 5spd.

How do u get the temperature on the center thing. My 09 has the little numbers but they won't turn on

@figgyfiggy5 I'm not sure how to activate it if it doesn't already work. From what I've read early production '09s didn't have the feature activated. Does your compass work ?

no it docent show but when the sun hits it u can see the letter and same with temp thing u can see the liitle numbers when the sun hits it

I loved my ST. 5th gear was annoying though, because it was at 3200RPM's at 70MPH. I averaged about 25 mpg when I drove from Virginia, MN to the Twin Cities. Unfortunately, I don't have it anymore because a tree crushed it...

I hate that the UK got the turbo version of the ST, and I am even more angry that they aren't bringing the RS over here either!
