I just discovered Elbow yesterday by hearing this song on the radio. Now that I've listened to this album on youtube, I can't help but whonder where they have been all my life.

This is actually about their career - spanning 18 years!! - and the hopes and dreams therein... "We had the drive and time on our hands, one little room and the biggest of plans..." I especially like the line "...or bicker and row just figuring how we were wired inside."

Beautiful, as a word, simply does not do it justice.

Got the cd from my uncle right before i left california and the whole flight back to florida seemed to pass right by. Hands down one of my favorite songs and we can all agree that elbow is an amazing band.
