Gasquet won 6:3, 7:6 (5). In this match Roddick shows how perfect he waste three setpoints...But it was a good match and Gasquet played really good. Gasquet is the Backhandking!

  • @federerownz he has no real legs. His technique is mostly upper body. He can't even flail himslf into shots the way the Big Four can. He's also too stiff.

  • @federerownz well its not really Nadal playing mor passively. when he's aggressive he'll move you side to side n try to create big opening for a winner. He doesn't try to crack one unless it's big enough for him generally. other times, Nadal finds himself pushed far back and finds it tough, like Murray at times to get back inside. Roddick is more passive as he doesn't really try to create opportunities often enough, and mostly hangs way behind, not really looking to find a way back.

  • alive in 03 ok? he plays passively because he doesnt believe in himself as much when he was young. Nadal plays more passive then Roddick and it seems to work for him. he generates way more spin than Roddick and works for him. how do u think u generate spin and pace?

  • @federerownz It's nothing to do with his technique, it's his game plan.I'm not sure if you were even alive in 2003 when Roddick was hammering forehands at will and playing so aggressively. With his current passive play, Roddick is still able to beat guys who don't believe in themselve who will make too many errors but established pro's are not afraid of him anymore and that's another reason why this game stye doesn't work. And Roddick hits with too much spin. No pace, though.

  • @MaratSafinVideos yea i agree, his technique is sooo bad that hes not able to hit the ball hard when he wants to thats y it looks like hes flailing his body when he hits. Roddick is a big guy but cant do anything with the ball. only reason he stayed in top 20 because of his serve. its not a coincidence Federer kills him everytime they play. no spin no variety poor technique.

  • @MaratSafinVideos I shouldn't have said that his volleys have become better, but that he has a net game (somewhat), he never used to go up to the net, only to finish points.

  • @jolanza2006 His volleys have certainly not been better recently, that's nonsense. Agreed on the rest, obviously, Roddick's got something wrong with his brain. He was successful as an attacking baseliner but over the course of the last 6 years has been increasingly becoming a bigger pusher.

  • @Blinx482 most of the time he had no choice

  • 02:26-02:23 joooo

  • i feel like roddick played net too much, a lot of his lost points came from just being too close to the net
