@boomfist Oh, I didn't quite have the room to point out that the fictional history of Doom 3's Soul Cube (discovered on Mars in 2104, was so mysterious they couldn't even weigh it; it was created by an ancient civilization that had died out thousands of years before) bears some creepy similarities to the real-life history of the Antikythera Mechanism.

@boomfist I have a wee-eared story with this song. I had just written a story about how the Doom 3 Soul Cube builds the wall and original city for the world of Haibane Renmei when I tripped over a Doom 3 music video with this song, looked up the song, and was floored by this video. The lady's name is Yaiba, the way she dresses, walks, the color of her hair, her curiosity and respect for the cube is the spitting image of my character. In my story, she wasn't actually there, but I'm still floored.
