  • Buddhism is more a philosophy than a religion.

  • This isn't Pagan... at one point in the song there's Latin saying "Lord, Lord have mercy. Christ, Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Christ have mercy."

  • @Hedgehog2039 so true mate... and that's exactly why religions shouldnt exist. Because Buddhism makes no distinctions. Peace , Namaste

  • sully erna sorry

  • sully is a wiccan no

  • The singer is Khrishna Das and the song is Om Tare Tuttare Swaha - it is not Celtic it is a Hindu Mantra hence it is in Sanskrit - it is the invoquation of the Green Tara - a protective Devi manifestation of the Divine Goddess Jai Ma Durgas. Khrishna Das implies in the song that She is Christ's Mother, The Holy Virgin, also known as Mother of all Mercy (thus implying that Christ's Divine nature comes from His Father as well as His Mother who the Bible says is human).

  • @Fire23eater Aren't you the same asshole who constantly berates people about having any belief that isn't your's? gtfo you hypocritical bastard.

  • Who cares what religion it is honoring. It's just good music!

  • This is in Hebrew and it's definitely not pagan. But it does sound lovely. I've been looking for the artist, but haven't had any luck.

  • @SuperSpiritDove Thanks! So this song is literally a chant to the savior-goddess Tara? If that is so you may wish to let the poster of the video know. I do not know if you already have told the person since I've not reviewed too many of the comments.

  • @SuperSpiritDove That is alright. We are all human and do not know everything. I did not know Buddhism had a Tara. What is it to the Buddhists? Thanks.

  • @SuperSpiritDove Well, Tara is Celtic. Tara is a place in Ireland. You can find it on the internet. It was the spiritual center of Ireland and many of the high kings were said to have ruled there. It was originally called Temhair that translates to Tara in the modern times.
