  • She talks about formal dinner, not about having your meal with friends or family. And by the way, pointing out her age makes you look like an idiot.

  • Having dinner with friends or family should be the same. Being civilized is what you want to achieve. Manners is being considerate of others around you.

  • She's teaching us how to lie! LOL

"if your phone rings, get it and turn it off, and say 'im sorry i thought i had it off'"

  • I don't think I would get on very well at one of her dinners. The first thing I always like to do when I arrive for dinner is take a huge shit in the middle of the table, and i'm often on my mobile phone when I do.

  • My Gawd!!! I'm not going to a dinner ever

  • I always do the exact oppostite and pround of it

  • @SueInTracy

Proper behaviour is not limited to dealing with strangers. Respecting your friends and family should be second nature.

  • Haha first time I've seen a Razr in awhile

  • Strangely enough, most of the mannerisms explained here apply to the movies as well.

    (hint, hint cell phone users)

  • @Sarandib22 very true.. cannot waste food with millions starving everyday

  • @morgained4 People hardly ever have true emergencies (unless you're next on the list for a kidney transplant). Ditch the cell phone; if it's an emergency, have the sitter call the restaurant for you. Many times, it's the kids calling to "tell" each other.

  • @SueInTracy. Thank you very much for your civilized comment. Protocol should be our second skin.
