yeah I watched the game and saw him struggle...I just missed the first 4-5 minutes. It's like we're still living off of the success he had matched up against Marion when we faced the heat. That was the only game he proved to be effective at SF. He was arguably our 2nd best post defender before the SF experiment...I'm just frustrated the Raptors' coaching staff fail to recognize that.

it's claer that bargnani cant play the 3;he should come off the bench as a center and continue to develop his game..though, i dont wanna justify his bad gamess, but toronto isnt the rigt place for him...

I'm with you man.. Give Joey a chance in the starting 5, its a contract year and that alone means he'll play hard. and if Bargs wants to come off the bench as a "big" he really has to work on his post skills... He just seems to throw the ball towards the hoop and hope for a miracle.
yes, bargs has still to work a lot on his post game, but I thought he was doing a pretty decent job at the beginning of the season when he was backup PF/C. It takes time, especially considering that he never played centre before his NBA career. With JO to "guide" him I think bargs has a good chance to become a good NBA centre in two years. But this always changing scenario in is just too much, moving him to SF is probably the dumbest move to do in this stage of his development.

Did he start against the Pacers? I agree, he has improved his inside game and his post defense was really good the times we used him at C/PF...he was getting 3-4 blocks a game. I think the coaching staff are afraid of hurting his confidence by taking him out of the starting lineup like we did last year when we replaced him with Rasho. But I agree, having him as the first big off the bench is the best role we have for him especially when he'll eventually be our future center.

nope, he finally came off the bench for Bosh/JO. I won't even bother uploading video of this game cause he was awful - missed all his shots, had only 4 rebounds, no blocks, a couple of TOs and overall didn't look really motivated. even though he didn't look lost on D like last couple of games. I hope its only a matter of finding his rythm again after being (mis)used as SF...
