Sad, sad, sad. I was surprised to hear that Sly Stone was booked for Coachella but really hoped he'd be great. God bless Cynthia & the rest of the band for trying to keep it together. For those of you calling people haters...get your heads out of the sand. We love Sly Stone but his "performance" at Coachella was just sad & disturbing. He may be off drugs now as some of you say, I really don't know...but it is fact that years of abuse have obviously done something to his brain, body & talent.

Listen, just because he was great in his day and his albums are timeless doesn't mean he gets a free pass for this. To say he was "as good as ever and better than most" is the height of delusion. If you care about him you should be wanting him to get HELP, not making excuses for him.

@papaguyocious dude...thank you. your like the only other person who realizes how amazing sly stone still is. Theres a lot of haters out there man, good to know not everyone sucks these days. I was there in the front row...best shit ever. He may be old, but he can still bring the funk.
