@rockkmonster did it take a few days for the meds to start workin? my dogs has been on the same thing for a week and and has had 1 every day !

most definitely had a seizure. Exact same as my dog when she comes out of it.
How is Donner on the meds? Looked like the dog might have been having a cluster seizure at the end.

It looks like a seizure to me.. ._. poor thing.. My dog's never had a seizure before, but a friend of my grandmother's has. The entire left side of his face stopped working afterwards. Hope nothing happens to him.. D:
Btw, very pretty dog. What breed is he?
not so bad compared to mine!

@Oliver2860 The seizures used to be only once or twice a year, but last for 20 minutes or more, with a long post-ictal stage that lasted all night. One day he just quit having long seizures, but now they are more frequent. He has a 5 minute episode about every other day now, without even seeming post-ictal afterwards. Not sure why.

He is normal on the meds. It took him a week to get used to the pills when we started him on them, and then a week again when we upped his dosage. Its hard to watch the dog get used to a new dosage - he was slipping and tripping all over the place.

@dolphin123678 you should see your vet about this. Seizures are dangerous because they raise dog's body temperatures to dangerous levels, among other risks. The dog in this video is now on daily medicine, and it sounds like maybe yours should be too.

Update: Months ago, he had a long series of seizures that prompted me to take him to the Animal ER. He had a couple more seizures there, and he now takes 60mg of phenobarbital every day. He has only had one seizure since starting the meds.
