Today we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118244 on a 2004 Nissan Xterra. We are underneath the vehicle. With the spare tire removed we are taking a look at the passengers side frame rail here. You can see right at the top of the frame rail we have got this plug with a cap on it. That is the plug that we are going to need to plug our harness into. I am just going to remove the cap, and I am just going to push the button in on the top here and remove the cap. And then we are just simply going to plug our harness into that and secure any of the extra wires that you may have on the 4-pole, using some zip-ties. And you do want to test all functions to make sure that you are getting power on all active ports. And this will conclude the installation of wiring harness part number 118244 on a 2004 Nissan Xterra. etrailer.com
@shelbyyiu It's possible that your car did not come with the wiring needed in order to install this part. If you visit etrailer(dot)com and put the year, make, and model of your car into our fitguide, there is an option of wiring for cars that do not have factory installed wiring.

I can't seem to find the plug to install the harness. Is it possible my 03 4 banger never came with the pigtail?
